Pass Lake Trail is a moderate 0.5 mile hike. The trail begins along the Coal Lake Road #4060 and travels through old growth timber, meadows and ends at 2.4 acre Pass Lake. This nine foot deep lake offers fair fishing. The route beyond the lake to Falls Creek is not maintained and vanishes into the brush after 0.5 mile.

Directions: From Verlot, Travel east on the Mt. Loop Hwy. 15 miles. Turn left on the Coal Lake Road #4060 and continue 4.5 miles to the trailhead.

Elevation: 3,600 feet

Ending Elevation: 3,900 feet

Elevation Gain: 300 feet

Distance: 0.5 miles

Usage: Moderate
