Private Shaw Island is two miles from Shaw ferry landing. The island is fairly level, providing a great surface for bikes. Swings, picnic tables, beach access, and a boat launch keep visitors of all ages entertained.

  • Also known as South Beach Park, this site is about two miles from the ferry landing. It has beach and boat launch access and it's one of the few waterfront areas on Shaw open to the public.
  • The only lodging on Shaw Island is the campground, with 11 available campsites. The campground has vault toilets and water in summer. Reservations are strongly recommended—call 360-378-1842.
  • The park has one of the nicest sand beaches around, and the shallow water makes it warm enough for swimming, at least in the latter half of the summer.
