Head north of Gig Harbor on the south end of Colvos Passage for some of the best shore dives in Puget Sound. The 25-foot rock wall that stretches 200 feet along the shoreline is rife with marine creatures hiding in cracks and crevices. Dive among scores of friendly wolf eels and keep your eyes peeled for the occasional giant Pacific octopus, but be prepared for strong, unpredictable currents.
