This half mile loop trail travels through a majestic stand of old growth Douglas fir, western red cedar, and white pine. The gravel surface has slopes of less than five percent with several rest areas. The trailhead is just past the entry gate for the Kachess Campground.

Directions: From Cle Elum, Located just past the entry gate for the Kachess Campground, 27 miles northwest (5 miles off I-90) on Forest Service Rd 4900.

Distance: .5 miles

Difficulty: Easy
