BeachExpert Tips & Helpful Hints
  • This is one of the few city beaches with summer lifeguards, making it a great and safe place to swim.
  • Grab your kayak or canoe—there's a launching site here.
  • The 3.8-acre park has its own fishing dock, trails, playground, and volleyball court. Rehydrate after a strenuous game, but go easy—restrooms are only open April to October.
