This .6 mile trail leaves from the Falls View Campground parking area and switchbacks steeply to the canyon bottom and the Big Quilcene River. There is fishing in the Big Quilcene, and camping, potable water, and toilets are provided at the campground. Pack and saddle stock, motorized vehicles, and mountain bikes are not permitted.

The Falls View Loop Trail #848 also leaves from the Falls View Campground. This is a delightful short walk with overlooks of waterfall and steep canyon walls with a depth of 300 feet. This trail is .1 miles long and has a rating of easiest.

Directions: From Quilcene, Travel south on US Hwy. 101 for 3.5 miles. Watch for the campground on the west side of the highway.
