This short trail is located five miles south of Quilcene at Rainbow Campground and descends through tall firs, an understory of ferns and salal, and switchbacks past a waterfall to Rainbow Canyon at the Big Quilcene River. Camping and toilets are provided at Rainbow Campground. Pack and saddle stock, motorized vehicles, and mountain bikes are not permitted. The total length of the trail is .5 miles.
