This heavily used trail provides access to the southern portion of the Pacific Crest Trail on the Lake Wenatchee Ranger District. The trail is .9 miles in length and travels through a good area for berry picking. There is limited roadside parking at the trailhead. This route is not recommended for stock trucks and trailers.

Directions: From Lake Wenatchee, Travel south on State Route 207 to U.S. Highway 2 and then to Bygone Byways and Mill Creek Winter Rec. Area. Turn north onto Forest Service Rd 6700 (Smith Brook Road) and proceed for about 3 miles. Watch for the trailhead on your left.
