Although fairly steep, the Icicle Ridge Trail offers good views of the Icicle and Leavenworth valleys. This is one of the first trails to become free of snow in the spring. With a length of nearly 25 miles and access to a number of branching trails in the Icicle area, this is an excellent route for backpackers and stock users. There are horse camps located at a distance from the lakes along the way. Stock feed is available. Bikes are not permitted.

Directions: From Leavenworth, Take Icicle Creek Road (#76) west for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for the trailhead on the right.

Elevation Gain: 5,654 feet

Distance: 24.6 miles

Difficulty: Strenuous
