This three mile round trip trail is located in Tumwater Canyon just west of Leavenworth and offers good views of the Wenatchee River and access to small, sandy beaches. The trail begins by crossing a bridge deck consisting of the bottom half of the pipeline which supplied water to turbines that powered trains through the old Cascade Tunnel. The trail ends at a rock fall blocking the old pipeline tunnel.

Directions: From Leavenworth, Travel west on Highway 2 for 1.7 miles. Turn left at the public fishing/picnicking area (site of the powerhouse). Hike across the bridge and turn upstream.

Difficulty: Easy
