This 3.5 mile loop trail begins near the Chatter Creek Guard Station, crosses a bridge and winds upstream along Icicle River with good views of waterfalls and pools. At the Rock Island campground you cross the cement bridge and pick up the trail again on the other side. The trail continues along this side of the creek, making the return trip to the trailhead. The entire hike is along an easy, valley-bottom trail. Leashed dogs are allowed, but no bikes or horses.

Directions: From Leavenworth, Take Icicle Creek Road (#76) west for approximately 16 miles to the Chatter Creek Guard Station.

Elevation Gain: 200 feet

Distance: 3.5 miles

Difficulty: Easy
