This alternative route into Twin Lakes is a half mile in length but located two miles beyond a locked gate which crosses the access road (#6300) north of Lake Wenatchee. Fishing is prohibited in Twin Lakes and their tributaries.

Directions: From Lake Wenatchee, Take State Route 207 to Forest Road 62 north. Travel to Forest Service Road 6300 northeast of Fish Lake and turn north. Continue on 6300 to a locked gate across the road. Hike up the road for 2 miles to access the trail.
