Silent Cliff Trail begins along SR 125 in the Middlebury Gap Area. The trail travels north for .4 mile overlapping the Long Trail then turning east leading to great views of the Middlebury Area and Green Mountains. Middlebury Gap is the dividing line for the Lake Champlain and Connecticut River watersheds.
Directions: From Middlebury Gap, VT, Hike the Long Trail north for .4 mile. Turn right onto the trail.
Elevation Gain: 525 feet
Distance: 1.5 miles
