Grout Ponds Area offers several trails in a series of easy loops which pass around Grout Pond and access the north end of Somersett Reservoir. There are a total of 10 miles of trails for both winter (primarily skiing and snowshoeing with limited snowmobiling) and summer (hiking) use. Camping, picnicking, swimming, canoeing, wind surfing and many other outdoor activities are available at Grout Pond.
Directions: From Stratton, VT, Travel several miles west on Forest Highway 6 to Grout Pond Picnic and Camping Areas.
