A lovely 3.9 mile hike to Stratton Pond which offers two overnight shelters.

From the trailhead parking lot on Kelly Stand Road (Forest Highway 6), hike north for 3.9 miles to where the trail comes to the southeast corner of Stratton Pond. This moderately easy trail leads to two overnight shelters along the banks of the pond.

Directions: From Arlington and West Wardsboro, VT, About midway between these two towns along Forest Highway 6 is trailhead parking.
