This beautiful hike stretches into the Lye Brook Wilderness Area.

Start at the height of the land from the Kelley Stand Road (Forest Highway 6) between Arlington and West Wardsboro. Take the Branch Pond Trail 2 miles north to Branch Pond. It is another 2 miles north to Bourn Pond in the Lye Brook Wilderness. Access is also available from the end of Forest Road 70. From there, hike west .1 miles to Branch Pond and then east 2.5 miles to Bourn Pond.

Directions: From Arlington and West Wardsboro, VT, About midway between these two towns along Forest Highway 6, to the height of the land, begin on Branch Pond Trail.
