Green Mountain Trail is a blue-blazed trail between the picnic grove stretching to Little Rock Pond. This length of trail is 4.1 miles and is considered moderately difficult. For a loop route, follow the white-blazed Long Trail for 2 miles south back to Forest Road 10. Turn right (west) for a .5 mile walk back to the Big Branch Picnic Area. This stretch of trail is rated moderate. The entire loop trail covers a distance of 6+ miles.

Directions: From Danby, VT, Take US 7 turning east on Forest Road 10. Park at the Big Branch Picnic Area. Trail begins about 100 feet west.

Difficulty: Moderate/Strenuous
