Allis State Park offers a .75 miles hike, Bear Hill Nature Trail, which is moderately difficult. The trail traverses a hillside heavily damaged in the January 1998 ice storm. The hiking trail offers beautiful mountain vistas along the path and from the Allis Fire Tower. You'll observe evidence of agricultural history and works of the Civilian Conservation Corps. Camping, restrooms and picnicking are enjoyed in addition to this short hike.
