A three-mile hike to the summit of Bromley Mountain ski area offers beautiful panoramic views. Head five miles east of Manchester Depot on SR 11/30 is the parking area for the Appalachian/Long Trail. You'll get excellent views of Stratton and Equinox mountains while hiking over moderate to rugged terrain. A portion of the trail overlaps with the national scenic trail while crossing through Hapgood State Forest.
