The Harmon Hill Trail, which is actually a day segment of the Appalachian / Long Trail, begins along SR 9 approximately 8 miles east of the town of Bennington. Hike south to Harmon Hill for an overlook of the town. This section of trail is only 1.7 miles in length but the first mile is very steep and difficult.
Directions: From SR 9, just east of Walloomisac Brook, Travel to where the Appalachian / Long Trail cross SR 9, about 8 mile east of Bennington.
