This trail is a little tricky to find. It is located near the water tanks on Bolles Brook Road just off SR 9 at Woodford Town Hall.

From the water tanks on Bolles Brook Road, climb through a mixed hardwood forest about 1.9 miles west to the summit of Bald Mountain at 2,857 foot elevation. There are excellent views of Bennington, Massachusetts and New York. This trail is moderately difficult and sometimes parking can be difficult. The end of the trail offers a pleasant walk along a babbling brook.

Directions: From Woodford Town Hall, VT, Travel on SR 9 to Bolles Brook Road. The trail begins near the water tanks.

Elevation: 2,857 feet

Elevation Gain: 1,100 feet

Difficulty: Moderate/Strenuous
