Trails suitable for both classic and skating styles of Nordic skiing meander through the alpine landscape between Silver Lake and Solitude at about 8,700 feet. They range from easy to moderately difficult. Snowshoers have their own trails to enjoy. The day lodge near Silver Lake provides rentals, snacks, and snowshoe tours. A ski school offers workshops, clinics, and lessons for beginners and more experienced skiers.
