The Sugar Cove Trail #89 is a moderate 2.2 mile trail. This trail begins at the Tellico Robbinsville Road near Beech Gap and goes to the North River Road.

Directions: From Tellico Plains, Travel south on State Hwy. 68 for approximately 5 miles and turn left onto County Hwy. 610. Travel on County Hwy. 610 for approximately 1.5 miles and turn left onto County Hwy. 623. Continue for 1.5 miles and turn right onto FDR #123. Continue for 5 miles and the road turns into FDR 126. Turn left onto FDR 210 and continue for 1.5 miles. Turn right onto FDR 216 and travel for 0.5 miles and turn right onto FDR 117. The trailhead will be 3 miles down the road on the right.
