The first panoramic train in the world circulated between Montreux and Zweisimmen. It is still the only line in Switzerland to offer VIP seats at the front of the train. These ultra-modern trains are designed to let the travellers see the countryside they are being taken across. The train's elegant silhouette, reminiscent of the design of an aeroplane, fit magically into the magnificent scenery as it glides effortlessly from Montreux to Château-d'Oex and Gstaad, as far as Interlaken and Lucerne.
