  • This is one of Switzerland's greatest family museums and a "must-see" for kids traveling anywhere near Lucerne. It has more than 3,000 items in its 400,000 square feet of space.
  • Among the museum's highlights are its simulators--including a flight simulator and Formula One race car simulator. Note: Lines for the most popular simulators can be long.
  • There are countless hands-on interactive areas. Kids can direct remote-control vehicles, find out what it's like to sit in a truck cab, build their own line with a model railroad, and "pilot" a helicopter, among other diversions.
