Visitors marvel at the diversity of Alpine flora as they are guided on well-marked paths and steps through the vast garden. June and July are the months when most plants are in bloom, but some rarities are in flower until the end of September. Signs indicate the names of the plants in German and in the original Latin, and whether they are medicinal or poisonous plants. In the "Medicinal Plant Garden of Alfred Vogel" you are introduced to the plants which are used in modern natural healing.
