You can jump in the water and try to swim with the friendly creatures, or simply gaze from a respectful distance on deck. Although sightings are not guaranteed, the probability of seeing the mammals is 78 percent. (If you don't see any, you can come back a second time for half price.) The Goleta Joven Maria II is a two-story covered boat with a large front deck space, and cruises only go during the high season from April to October (the rest of the year, it's by private charter only).
