The southern part of the Gulf of Roses has good, predictable onshore wind conditions, with strong winds on summer afternoons. The sea here is usually flat and, together with the gently sloping sands, it's an ideal place for experts, beginners, and also children who like to windsurf or sail. It's also home to sports schools.
