If you tire of Ibiza's crowded scene, escape to this lovely beach devoid of hotels or development. An unpaved road leads to this small, calm, U-shaped cove, where lounge chairs are available on the golden sand and pedal boats are for rent to ply the deep waters. The beach gently slopes to the ocean, making for calm waters good for children and non-swimmers. (It's only rough if the wind blows from the west-northwest.) On the beach are snack bars and restaurants, and above are cliffs topped with thick pine woods. Even locals come to this beach to relax, and it's the ideal place to sip sangria and watch the island's spectacular sunsets.
