Angostura Reservoir is a recreation area offering opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming. The area has natural sand beaches, four campgrounds, and eight cabins. An array of interpretive and educational activities during the summer season and Nature Day Camps are available for kids ages 7-12.

  • Walleye, smallmouth bass, crappie, and others dwell in Angostura Reservoir. You'll find four boat launches spread out around the lake, as well as two fish-cleaning stations at the north boat ramp and the Horsehead boat ramp.
  • There are four campgrounds along the lake's eastern shore—two in the north, two in the south.
