The Saint Vincent Botanical Gardens occupy approximately 20 acres along Leeward Highway and are the oldest botanical gardens in the Western Hemisphere. Guided tours offer historical and educational information on the extensive array of plant life. The Nicholas Wildlife Aviary Complex is located within the Gardens and is part of the captive breeding program to conserve the endangered Saint Vincent Parrot.
