More than 800 ‘gators—from babies of eight inches to big boys 13 feet long and 500 pounds—call Alligator Adventure home. Naturalists explain the toothy predators’ behavior before treating guests to a snap-jaw feeding frenzy. The facility also shelters lizards, tortoises, turtles, and exotic birds, as well as pythons, rattlers, vipers, and other snakes. –Candyce Stapen

  • Alligator Adventure is located just north of Barefoot Landing.
  • Your ticket is good for two days, so if you want to catch another feeding, just return the next day.
  • Take the long wooden walkway at the east end of the park and you'll end up at Barefoot Landing's Liberty Tavern, a good place to reflect upon your recent gator experience over a homemade brew.
