This 1.4 mile trail is located at the Parsons Mountain Recreation Area, south of Abbeville. It climbs from the lake to a fire lookout on the top of Parson's Mountain.

This trail is located at the Parsons Mountain Recreation Area, south of Abbeville. The Parson's Mountain Hiking Trail begins at the boat rampant terminates at the fire tower 1.4 miles away. This trail climbs from the lake to the top of Parson's Mountain, passing the historic "gold mines." It traverses bottomland and upland hardwoods, through pine, and terminates among dry ride scrub oaks.

Directions: From Abbeville, Take SC route 28 south 2.1 miles. Turn left on route SI-251, drive 1.5 miles to entrance on right.
