This two-mile loop trail near the community Huger and the Huger Recreation Area provides a short introduction to the beauty of the Francis Marion National Forest. Hikers and mountain bikers can look forward to spotting turkey, quail, deer and squirrels among the longleaf pine ridges and hardwood drains.

Directions: From Moncks Corner, Travel just north of Moncks Corner on Highway 17-A. Turn right onto SC Hwy. 402 and drive 13 miles to the recreation area on the right.
