These fascinating caverns are home to thousands of giant fruit bats with wingspans of up to four feet long. You can visit the caves via a hike through some dense jungle. After paying a small fee to the family that owns the land, you descend into the mouth of a cave littered with large boulders. The climb is tricky, with stones slippery with bat guano. Bring good shoes and a flashlight to get into the marvelous stalactite cave. The faint of heart can simply hang outside the cave and watch the thousands of critters take off at dusk in search of their insect dinner.
