A service of Honolulu Soaring, Original Glider Rides operates year round from Dillingham Airfield on Oahu's North Shore, and offers a variety of times and packages - from scenic to acrobatic. Two passengers can fly on the scenic route. Come between mid-December to April for whale watching.

Ask to steer the plane yourself, and your pilot will show you how. Don't worry - they won't let you do anything dangerous!
Bring a camera or camcorder to record as much of the flight as you'd like.
Those with iron stomachs can do the aerobatic flight, complete with loops, rolls, and spins.

Get a bird's-eye view of Oahu as you're pulled nearly 3,000 feet in the air before gliding down at 200 feet a minute in a sailplane steered by an experienced FAA certified glider pilot. This is one of the biggest thrills in all of Hawaii.
