Just east of Manele Bay, Fish Rock comprises two submarine lava-rock pinnacles that rise from the sea floor at about 60 feet to within 12 feet of the surface. This vertical topography allows divers to start at the bottom and move shallower up the sides of the rocks, which are encrusted with cup corals and hard finger corals. This is a good dive for all experience levels, and even snorkelers if the conditions are calm. And true to its name, it's also a great spot for fish watching. Unique species like Hawaiian turkeyfish and bandit angelfish may be spotted among the schools of seargent majors and surgeon fish.
