Canoe Beach is the county beach park just south of Ka'anapali Beach in Lahaina. A launching point for many Maui canoe clubs, there are no hotels, no shops, no restaurants, and few tourists—just the setting for travelers seeking a quiet, but beautiful beach experience.

  • See some of Hawaii's canoe clubs in action at this site. The beach's name comes from the Maui canoe clubs who use it as a launching point. You could see paddlers practicing or even racing.
  • If you're a kayaker, this is also a good beach to launch a trip.
