- Ke'e is perhaps the most visited beach on the island, and it's great for swimming and snorkeling in the summer months.
- The lagoon is a snorkeler's heaven, but be aware of the Puka Ulua, an opening to the sea on the left side. Currents can be dangerously strong and fishermen stake out their turf early.
- At the western end of the beach is the trailhead for famous Kalalau Trail, an 11-mile route that winds into Na Pali Coast State Park.
