Shipwreck Beach (Ben Sumner)

Named for an old, wooden shipwreck that has long since disappeared, the beach is good for experienced surfers, boogie boarders, body surfers, and windsurfers. Nearby Makawehi Point and is a popular fishing site. You can hike along the cliffs and beach. Swimming should be left to only the most skilled due to strong currents and high surf.
