Nature lovers will enjoy the 23-acre Hershey Botanical Gardens. Guests can stroll through the Rose Garden featuring 7,000 roses in 275 varieties, the ever-changing Seasonal Display Garden, the Memorial Garden, the perennial garden, the oak grove, Mrs. Hershey's Rose Garden (planted in 1907), the Japanese garden, ornamental grasses, an arboretum, and a rock garden.

Kids will be dazzled by the Children's Garden, an interactive and magical place where "don't just look, touch!" seems to be the philosophy. Special areas within the garden include a human sundial, the Chocolate Tropics, and a Rose Compass Court. You won’t want to miss the Butterfly House, where you can get very close to 300 fluttering butterflies—and maybe even take one for a ride.
