  • To experience the best of the lake and its scenic surrounds, rent one of 12 two-bedroom cabins in the woods around the lake. There is also a 129-site campground with basic facilities.
  • Bring your fishing gear to ply the lake for catfish, chain pickerel, muskie, largemouth bass, perch, bluegill, crappie, walleye, and some trout.
  • Call Tom at Blue Mountain Sports for a sunrise kayaking trip on Mauch Chunk Lake, where you might catch a glimpse of the area's resident eagles or blue herons.
