Opened in 1992, the Oregon Coast Aquarium ranks among the top ten aquariums in the nation.
It is probably best known for its famous one-time resident Keiko, killer whale star of the movie Free Willy, but the aquarium has more than 500 species of animals in indoor and outdoor exhibits. Don't miss Passages of the Deep, Keiko's former home, with its acrylic tunnels allowing guests to wander an underwater world populated by sharks, rays, and other creatures mere inches away.
Oregon Coast Aquarium has the largest walk-through seabird aviary in North America.
