Celebrated Miami neighborhood South Beach is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and Latin flavor. Located at the southernmost point of Miami Beach, it is a popular party spot and getaway with designer boutique hotels, trendy restaurants, and popular nightclubs. For decades, it has attracted A-list celebrities with its plush open-roof lounges and music from international DJs. For quieter evenings, oceanfront terraces and patios are ideal for an after-dinner drink. South Beach is also considered a shopping mecca by the thousands that walk its streets each year looking for haute-couture or designer labels at bargain prices. Strolling down Ocean Drive or Lincoln Road, visitors will find an array of shops and galleries ranging from Kenneth Cole and Versace to Bugatti and Kosiuko. Several residential neighborhoods in the area are also well worth a stroll. Check out historic Flamingo Park, north of Fifth, to take in the low-rise Art Deco buildings South Beach is known for. Collins Park, the area's most up-and-coming neighborhood, includes the public library, several well-known spas, and the Bass Museum of Art.
