No matter where you go out in Miami, chances are good that you'll eventually end up at Twist. Huge dance clubs come and go, but the party never stops at this indoor/outdoor multi-room complex, a long-running favorite of gay locals and tourists of all ages. There's no room for standing and modeling on the packed upstairs dance floors, which get going after 1 AM (and don't plan on conversation, either.) Go-go boys are the draw in the Bungalow Bar out back, where the scene is more festive than sleazy; granted most of these muscle-bound dancers are straight, but they sure are friendly and easy on the eyes. Weekends draw the biggest crowds, but drink specials and drag shows during the week keep slow nights buzzing. Twist is the longtime host of Swan Song, the final party of Miami's White Party Week circuit extravaganza in Thanksgiving.
