  • One of the oldest aquariums on the West Coast, this small facility is best known for its seals—more than a dozen of them. Buy fish when you enter and the marine hams will start doing all kinds of things to get your attention. Yes, you could get wet.
  • The Discovery Center with its touch tanks is the best area for small children.
  • The aquarium is open daily; kids five and under are free.
