BeachExpert Tips & Helpful Hints
  • Old 300, a restored trolley built in 1914, holds 40 passengers and runs for three miles along the Columbia River. A conductor tells riders the history of the area and about popular local attractions.
  • Catch the trolley anywhere between Basin and 36th streets along the riverfront. One stop is the Columbia River Maritime Museum.
  • You can ride the entire round-trip—about 45 minutes—for $1, or you can pay $2 and ride all day long.
