One of Copenhagen's most convenient (and most popular) beach options, Bellevue Strand is only about seven miles north of the city center, and easily accessible by train or even by bike. From the main train station, take the S-train or Øresund (airport) train to Klampenborg. You'll find the beach just to the east of you as you leave the station, and you'll find the gays and the nudes at Bellevue's north end. On summer weekends, it's packed. For those craving further excitement, nearby you'll find Bakken (short for Dyrehavsbakken, www.bakken.dk), the world's oldest amusement park.
