FamilyExpert Tips & Helpful Hints
  • Guests take turns driving the dogs, riding in the sleds, and riding in a small passenger sleigh with the guide. All tours start with guides explaining how to operate the sleds and how to safely run the well-trained Siberian huskies. This is not an activity for kids younger than age four.
  • Don't forget your camera. When it's your turn to sit in the passenger sleigh you can get great action shots of the rest of your family driving or sitting on the dog sled.
  • Good Times provides snowsuits, boots, and helmets at no extra cost, but participants must dress appropriately. That means wear warm layers and after-ski boots, and bring gloves, hats, sunglasses, goggles, and sunscreen. Reservations are required; arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled tour. Ask about pick-up in town.
