This is a well maintained forest road that crosses a major portion of the Saguache Ranger District. Common sites along the route include: open parks, thick timber, logging activity, livestock grazing, wildlife, Storm King Campground, Houselog Creek, Middle Fork of Carnero Creek and Carnero Pass. Many alternate roads branch off of this main route, however, most of these roads require a pick up truck and/or a four wheel drive vehicle.

Directions: From Saguache, Colorado, Travel 23 miles west of Saguache on Highway 114. This road continues across Carnero Pass and ties into Highway 285 17 miles south of Saguache.
